The Polish National Energy Conservation Agency is a non-profit organisation of a public service nature. It was created after a resolution passed by the Polish Parliament, a decision of the Government of the Republic of Poland, together with agreement between shareholders. The mission of KAPE is to develop and implement principles for the attainment of sustainable energy policies in Poland.
